This was a sit-com in the making!

This past weekend, I did a shrimp fountain (pic here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/55969028@N00/)

So I'm washing the fountain and I'm out of the cleaner I usually use. What the heck ... a little Dawn dishsoap should work ok! So I put a dab in the bottom, fill it with water and turn the fountain on to circulate it thru the piping. I go in the backroom to do some work while it's running.

Ok, you all see it coming, right? I go back to the fountain and it looks like a sit-com where the husband has put too much soap in the washer! Soap bubbles have built up and it's ready to start cascading all over the place!

Good lord, it takes me about 5 rinsings and recyclings to get the water to run clear!

What an idiot! dunce.gif

Your link isn't working for me...

But yeah...I did this once when my husband and I first moved in together. Very, very embarrassing. icon_redface.gif Talk about a mistake you don't make twice!! icon_biggrin.gif

Vinegar will kill the bubbles, just in case there is a repeat. icon_biggrin.gif

A little dab a do ya icon_lol.gif
I bet you wanted to kick yourself icon_lol.gif

That reminds me of when my oldest brother moved into his first apartment and ran out of Cascade for the dishwasher. But he had just purchased a brand new bottle of Joy lemon-scent dish detergent and thought what the heck it's for washing dishes. He loaded up both soap dispensers in the dishwasher and turned that bad boy on - icon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gif

He was cleaning up soap bubbles for quite some time icon_lol.gif

The 2nd link worked for me.

You do very nice clean and crisp designs. One of the marks of a 'professional' cake. Something I'm aiming for. I have a tendency to get 'artistic' instead.
