Hi There--

Does anyone use Torani Syrups in cake mixes, to brush cakes or in icing?

I haven't used Torani brand, but a different brand of coffee syrup and they worked great as flavorings in both cakes and frostings. I just added an extra tsp of flavoring or substituted if I wanted a stronger flavor.

They work like a charm for flavored simple syrup to spritz onto cake before filling.

How much of the coffee syrup do you use in the cake and frosting? Last time I tried replacing the water with the coffee syrup in the cake mix and the cake sank.
