Okay...I'm making my first wedding cake this weekend for my best friends wedding. This means my first tiered, stacked, torted, smoothed BC, and fondant design cake!!! All of those firsts. I've practiced and feel pretty confident in what I'm about to do. Good thing she's not picky and doesn't care really if it looks decent or not. But, I, on the other hand, want it to look WONDERFUL. Wish me luck, please. And any last minute advice is appreciated! You all have inspired me so much and taught me many things. I'm glad I found this site when I did, or else I'd be doomed!!
You will be great. Best advice I can give is stay calm I think as long as you keep your wits about you it all works out. I think when you lose that your cake will show it. Can't wait to see the finished cake
Start by laying out all your tools and ingredients tonight if you can premake your emergency kit , icing and tips lay everything out and good luck ! also you can make a check list i tape this to the door i am leaving out of to make sure i have everything that includes what your wearing camera ect ... lots of love !
