yellow??? I am using a pale yellow icing for the cake...but unsure of what color I should make the border and decorations. Would White roses look to bland with maybe green leaves popping out? I dont know I am so new to this that I am finding myself color blind now lol. Input on colors that go together and colors that really don't would be appreciated!
Thanks a lot CC friends. icon_smile.gif

Well, I am biased because yellow is my favorite color, but white can be pretty if your yellow is bold enough, purple hues (lavender), and even pinks can be very nice.

Maybe look in the color-coded albums on this site...

Good luck!

i agree with funcakes... lavender or pink would be great... maybe blue. again, depends on the colour of yellow, you said pale, so maybe the white would blend in?

I actually did a yellow cake with white border it looks really pretty. You could put a splash of other color if you like to give it a little some thing more or you could just lightly paint the edge of your roses with color and give it a whole different look. I love to do that with roses it really makes them stand out.
