I just got an email back about the no training dogs in bed thing. It's more common than I had thought! What I was told was that some trainers feel that the dog will not understand that you are the alpha if you allow him to sleep in your bed. I disagree & I think that as long as the dog understands that it's your bed and he needs to get down or scoot over when you tell him to, then it's not a problem. I think the real key is to carry yourself as the alpha at all times.

So while there are different schools of thought regarding dog training, bransmom, you got stuck with the ones that don't agree with you icon_rolleyes.gif
