Which should I use Gummy Bears or Teddy Grahams?

I wanna make a cake for my boyfriend's family because we are going to visit them next week. I want to make one of those cakes with all the littl ebears on them because they are soooo cute, but I am having trouble deciding on whether to use Teddy Grahams or jumbo gummy bears. Someone said that the Teddy Grahams get soft so that's not good, but the Gummy Bears don't really look as nice (but they do taste good). I wanna put lil swimsuits on too and I guess Royal Icing can go on either. Please give me some advice! Thanks.

This is an example of the type of cake I want to make except that mine will be on a beach:

Any opinions appreciated.

I think you should use the teddy grahams. You can put the bathing suits on them by drawing with a food marker. Give them little faces as well. I do this all the time and I have never had a problem with the cookie softening too much. I think it will come out great!
