What is the best, inexpensive airbrush system to purchase? I bought one at Michaels today, but I think I am going to check at Wal-mart and try and find one with a compressor. Will a plain airbrush work for cakes or is there a special kind to buy? I really don't want to invest alot at this moment. Are they easy to use and any other info would be helpful. Thanks

There are so many airbrushed cakes in the gallery and no one can help. Well, I guess I will wing it on my own. Thanks anyway

I think I remember someone saying that they found a decent one for around $30 or so at home depot.... you could try there...good luck!

If you happen to have a nebulizer, I read in the forums that this works as a compressor. I bought a Kopykake for $150 and just love it. It works great. I'm not sure about any compressors from WalMart or craft stores.

I would try a local hobby shop. That's where my husband bought his, and they have a wide selection. I think you'd find much better quality there, and maybe even a better price.
