Hi,
I am making my brother's birthday cake this year. He is really into bowling and I wanted to make him a bowling pin cake with maybe bowling ball cupcakes. Does anyone have a pattern for a bowing pin that I could use to cut the pin from a sheet cake?

I don't have one, but if you can't find one, maybe you can make a sheet cake, turn it into the bowling lane and make little fondant pins and a ball. Sorry was just having a vision in my head icon_biggrin.gif

if you have MS Word or Publisher....lots of clip art there you can use for a pattern.

Another thought is if you go to ebay you can order a 3d stand up bowling pin pan and than use the wilton sports ball pan for the bowling ball. If you need more servings than just use the cupcakes or sheet cake with it!

If your in a big hurry just do the ally, and get the candles that are a pins and a ball. I have a pic of the one i did in my photo files. I had less then 24 hour notice on this cake, but the family loved it. good luch

I've use the pattern that kiddiekakes added and it turned out nice. A lot of wasted cake scraps...but it was neat. Be sure to crumbcoat first, because you'll be frosting a lot of cut edges! Good luck!
