I NEED HELP!! I am planning my wedding and like all kinds of flavors...so I have no idea where to even start with the flavors for my wedding cake...Thought I would ask the experts! All help is appreciated!!!!!!
I'm not an expert, but I would choose flavor(s) that are widely liked. Everyone will (pretty much) eat vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate, but some people won't/can't eat carrot or anything with nuts. Since it's your wedding & your cake, pick things you like, but I'd make the largest section of cake simple.

I agree..most people like chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, strawberry. When I got married I had a 14 red velevet cream cheese filling ( being from the south we all love this) 2 12 vanilla one w/ strawberry filling, one w/white choc raspberry , 10 choc w/ oreo filling, 8 lemon w/ lemon/lime, 6 vanilla....
You are the bride....whatever you like goes. 
I would do at least one flavor that everyone will like, like vanilla, but then have fun with the others. . . something exotic and different, but it really depends on your preferences, too. Try to do each flavor from a different palette - basic, fruity, rich, etc.

A little something for everyone. And no cake left over.
Went to a wedding recently & thought they had a great idea. They had several individual cakes there that were arranged on a table on cake plates/stands of various height. All were torted & filled then frosted smooth with white butter cream. They were banded around the bottom with a simple ribbon. Each cake was a different flavor & the fillings varied with the flavor of the cake. Truly was a gorgeous display on the table & everyone got to pick their own piece of cake as well. Not sure this is for everyone but the basic idea sure seemed one that would please.
