Does anyone know of a recipe for a filling with heath bar (or toffee pieces) in it. I have a request for a chocolate cake with heath bar filling.

Also would this combo be ok with regular BC icing?

I don't know of any, but it sounds yummy. I hope someone else has a recipe.

Found this on epicurious.com a while back & saved it. I've never tried it, but is sounds delish!

Filling
2 tablespoons dark rum
1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
1 cup chilled whipping cream
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
10 tablespoons plus 1/2 cup English toffee pieces (or chopped English toffee candy; about 7 ounces)

Pour 2 tablespoons rum into heavy small saucepan; sprinkle gelatin over. Let stand until gelatin softens, about 10 minutes. Stir over low heat just until gelatin dissolves. Beat chilled whipping cream and 3 tablespoons powdered sugar in large bowl until firm peaks form. Beat in gelatin mixture. Fold in 6 tablespoons English toffee pieces.

If you try it, I'd love to hear a review!

I have never made it, but I think if you took some whipped cream and folded in a bit of butterscotch pudding and a crumbled up heath bar bits it'd be yummy! And regular butter cream would be more than fine over the top of it.

I've used heath bar crunch in my chocolate buttercream icing and used it for filling in the past and it went over really well. You could also use the oreo filling recipe on this site and replace heath bar crunch for the oreos- you might need a little more powdered sugar though to thicken it up- not sure.
