Just a thought...if you check with the airlines and they won't allow him to bring any back in his luggage, he could easily ship a small package home to you. Granted it would cost more...but if you really wanted to try it, it might be worth the hastle.
Do you have any sort of flavored non-dairy creamers available in the UK that you could try?
I did a little investigating and found a web-site that will deliver the powdered version (the liquid version is perishable) to you in the UK...
Not in your store? They'll ship it to your door!

Oh he's going to love me ... first ever trip to the US & I'll have him checking out Wal-Mart for coffee creamer on his one afternoon off!!!!!! ![]()
Thanks everyone for your help - I'll have a look at that website too!
The only flavoured coffee 'creamer' type thing I've ever seen is a malted flavouring thing!! Not too sure what you're supposed to do with it!!
I tried the BC white cake mix with an additional box of instant vanilla pudding (that was a mistake since BC already has pudding added
) an extra egg, milk instead of water and 2.5 tbsp of Vanilla/Chai Latte Coffeemate.
The cupcakes/cake were very yummy but had a definitely vanilla flavour (possibly due to the extra pudding mix). Didn't get much of the Chai flavour coming through. I think I had a better experience with the Vanilla/Caramel Coffeemate. I will try the Vanilla/Chai Latte mix again sans extra pudding and see the outcome.
Just wondering if anyone else has tried chocolate cake and hazelnut creamer? I tried the powdered hazelnut creamer with a DH chocolate fudge cake mix, pudding and an extra egg. The cake was very moist and rich, but I couldn't really taste the creamer. I put in about 2 1/2 TBSP - should I have added more?
On a different note, I read someone else's post about Nutella filling - I added 1/4 cup Nutella with 1 1/2 cups of buttercream and WOOHOO
that was good with my chocolate cake!
