I really want to expand my products before the holidays come so I can get more business. I've added cheesecakes to my menu and now its time to add decorated cookies and cookie bouquets.
I think I'm going to charge $1.50-$1.75 per decorated cookie but not sure how much to charge for a cookie bouquet? How much would you charge?
I am selling cookies for the holidays and these are the prices that I decided on:
2.50 each for individually decorated and packaged
cookies.
3 for 7.00 or 12 for 25.00
bouquets---5 cookies-30.00
7 cookies-35.00
I am trying to make it worth my time and energy to make them. Hope this helps.
Cindy
I was thinking along those prices but I was going to put 12 cookies in a bouquet for $30.
Maybe I should increase the price if I put 12 in one bouquet.
Well, 9 cookies in a bouquet from Cookies by Design are 75.00, which I think is way too much. However, their cookies are really big and they have a lot of overhead. I think with the time involved in baking and decorating, I would do not more than 7 for 30.00. I am going to see if I get any orders at the prices I have set and see how it goes. I don't want to undersell myself.
I made up brochures on the internet and printed them on some really good paper. They look very professional and were very inexpensive.

Ok, I think I'll lower the number of cookies per bouquet. If those don't sell then I may have to revise the price and number of cookies.
Thanks Cindy
Hi,
I was just looking at this post and was wondering how big your cookies are that you are selling for $2.50? And, how are they decorated? I just made up some cookies that are covered with MMF, then have a MMF border with royal icing on top of that. How much do you think I should charge for these? They are around 2" x 3". Thank you!!
