I was wondering about some cake boards that would be a little nicer than cake circles. I see these cake drums which look nice, but I think they are disposable? I kind of wanted something that I could reuse that would look nice. What are your suggestions

The cake drums in silver & gold are reusuable. My local cake supply store sells them. They are little more expensive but you can use them over and over again. They are very sturdy. See link below.

So my question is with these cake drums or others, do you need to re-foil them? Or do you just rinse them off? They look nice.

I just wash them off and reuse. I don't have to re-foil them since I get them a few inches larger than the actual cake. This way you don't get the bottom or edges dirty. I still have a cake drum in my supply chest waiting to be used. It still looks brand new.
