I am totally computer iliterate. I have tried and tried to cut copy or paste the tickertape thing from ticker factory and I just can't do it. I've tried right clicking. I've tried using the edit button on my tool bar. Nothing is working. I even tried to e-mail it to myself and do it that way. IT WON'T WORK!!!! AAAARRRGGGGHHH!!! 
Ok, I'm done having my temper tantrum now. 
Can anybody explain this to me? mmbb tried, and I still couldn't get it to do it. I'm using the bbcode silection. What am I doing wrong. When I right click or edit the only icons that it allows are to im a friend, e-mail someone, add to favorites, or delete. That's it. I've even shut my computer down and rebooted. Nothing works.

i tried 1 million ways and it just wouldn't appear.
people explaned to me but it just didn't work, so for me it was/is still mission impossible.
ps. if you figure out this thing PLEASE send me a pm and explane what is the special trick to it. 
OK ... once you've created your ticker, you need to copy the entire code under bbCode. Then, come back to CC, go into "My Forum Info" (on the left side of your screen, right under "my account"), and go to "Signature". Paste what you copied right there. Also, double check that under "Preferences", the option that says "Always allow BBCode:" is set to "YES". Then, click on SUBMIT at the bottom of the page, and you should be all set. Let me know if it works for you. 
(Don't feel bad ... it took me awhile to figure it out when I first tried to add a ticker. )
I have copied and pasted each time I've changed my ticker, and it worked fine.
For some reason, your right click menu doesn't seem to be working correctly.
Try this ...
Once you've highlighted the code, go up to the top of your screen to the "Edit" menu ... click on that, and then click on "Copy". Then, go to the section in "My Forum Info", click in the "Signature" box, and go back up to the "Edit" menu, click on it, and then click on "Paste". Did that work?
Well, now you have part of the web link in your signature ... it looks like you're not copying the entire address ... make sure you highlight the entire code under bbCode ....
OK ... cut and paste the above and put it in your signature section ...
Well, that didn't work the way I thought it would.
When you go into your signature, paste the url (it's missing the "h" at the beginning, so make sure to add that). Then, highlight the entire url and click on the "Img" button right above the text area. That should do it.
Oops ... not a dumb question. I realized that there is no "Img" button option in the "Signature" section.
OK ... copy the entire thing that I am posting below (but ADD a [ at the beginning of the first line and another [ at the beginning of the second line) and paste in your "Signature" section ...

You're very welcome!!! I just started nursing school ... I'll be done in June 2008. I'm feeling very overwhelmed right now, but I just have to keep at it. How did you keep yourself from getting discouraged?
Basically, I told myself it wouldn't last forever and to think about all the money I would make. (to pay off student loans) 
Seriously, I had a little one to think of. My ex and I split up and I knew that I had to be able to support my kid and I didn't want to be working a ton of minimum wage jobs. It got rough, and people said maybe I should take some time off (thanks for the encouragement) 
. But the more they said that, the more stubborn I got and kept sticking it out. The last two quarters were the hardest because I was soooooo burned out by then. But it was deffinately worth it in the end. You can work anywhere after your done. Hang in there and if you ever need moral support pm me and I'll give you a shoulder to lean on.

Thanks ... you're so sweet! I've felt for quite a few years that nursing is my calling, so now I just have to make it through the schooling!!
