For the past 3 days I've been feeling nausous after every meal. I don't think I'm pregnant because I'm on the pill. Any ideas? Also, I sometimes get really bad pains in my stomach for no apparent reason. They feel like contraction pains in the stomach without the actual contraction of the stomach.

well.. if you have been taking the pill without fail, slim chance of being preg... but sounds like preg to me!... although, nausea comes at anytime of the day when preg... (don't know if you've been preg b4 so hope i'm not being to presumptuous)... could it just be a virus? if u were preg, sometimes certain smells send you over the edge too....

I'd be doing a HPT if it was me - just to be 100% sure! icon_wink.gif

Maybe it's an ulcer? The "after meals" part leads me to think it's something gastrointestinal, not pg. But I'd take a HPT, just to be safe (like Feefs said!!).

It may be a virus that is going around. I'm having some of the same symptoms and took the pg test myself and negative. I've heard of others with it too.

reenie, get checked out for an ulcer (especially if there is a burning sensation) I actually have the same problem as you, I've been dealing with it for about 7 years now, and those cramps are not just normal pms cramps are they? Mine had me doubled over and on the ground at work unable to move or talk, it felt as if someone was trying to gut me from the inside out! Other times they were not as bad, but I felt waives of nausa often. My problem is actually ovarian cysts. I know it sounds like Big Whoop, but it causes a lot of problems and I almost had to have an exploritory surgery to figure out what was wrong....just cysts ( I dealt with the pain for 4 years before an answer) When the cyst ruptures the majority of the time it is painless except in some people. I have severe ovarian cysts so this is what I would get checked out, because I had/have the same problem, but by all means it could be anything so please go see a DR.

If it isn't an ulcer it could be your gallbladder. I had mine removed a couple of years ago. Everyone has different symptoms but most deal with the sickness at meals and pain in the back or stomach. I had sickness and backpain after I ate any meal with any kind of spices in it. Good luck figuring it out! icon_smile.gif
