I know I have mentioned this darn A.C. competition on many threads, but the time is drawing near and I'm starting to get really nervous. I have put so much time into these things that I think I will just die if I don't do well. I know that sounds so horrible!!! icon_redface.gif I know it should be a learning experience....but after so much time and energy spent how do you keep your composure when the announced winner is not you?.....any words of advice?

Faith in the Lord. Pray about it before and get to a place where you can accept if you don't win.

Your work is so beautiful, but I think it is normal to be apprehensive when you are involved in a competition. Just know that even if you do not win, it is not a reflection of your talent, because you are
definitely an artist!!!

I am sending you much luck and I can't wait to see your entries!!!

Irene, I have read many of your posting and the couple of emails that we've exchanged, and I have NO doubt that you will be in the running and if someone else is announced as the winner...I have every confidence that you will be a gracious loser and be very happy for the winner...who ever that may be.

The opportunity to be in the competition is enough of a feather in your cap!....and there will ALWAYS be other competitions!

Have confidence in your work, it will speak volumes!
