Support Construction For Tilted Cakes

Hello. I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to construct supports for a tilting cake like this one: http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-photo_242833.html The 2007 Crumbs Panhandle Contest.

It looks like it was done with styrofoam wedges between the layers to achieve the tilted effect. I'm not an expert on that construction method but you should be able to do a search in the threads for stryofoam and whimsy or something to that effect!
