I Have a major exam in October and havn't been caking as much as I would like to. Infact... I havn't been caking at all!! But recently, I've been getting some really weired symptoms. for a few:-
1) In the middle of studying, I'll find myself daydreaming about decorating cakes.
2)While trying to memorize something the other day, I found myself making strange motions with my hands. After a while,I realized my hands were acting out how to pipe a frosting rose!! icon_confused.gif
3) Once in a while, i'll go to the kitchen and stare at my oven.
4) I keep getting strange dreams about piping bags, frosting and cakes dancing around me.

Now, I know it sounds a bit extreme. But I really am normal. ( atleast, I like to think I am) So, tell me, anybody else have had this before? icon_redface.gif

Totally normal. I dream about cakes when I'm working on one or coming up with ideas for an order. I also enivison cakes when I see a really great fabric, invite, or just a cool pattern. I'm known to take more pictures of flowers than of my own kids. Just in case I need a reference later icon_smile.gif. All that daydreaming and obsession is slowing now, but I think it comes and goes in waves icon_smile.gif.

Don't worry I talk in my sleep and a lot of times I dream about a concept for a cake I would like to try....My partner is very supportive and never really teases me but she is a light sleeper so she hears alot. Sometimes I would tell her about an Idea I have for a cake and she would say I know you told me.....I would never believe her and tell her she is just saying that so I will stop talking about cake......Then one day after one of my "concept dreams" I started telling her my Idea, she said wait a second and left the room, she came back with a pad of paper she had writen in detail everything I was going to tell about my idea. So now I bet you think I'm weird.
