Got a question for anyone who would like to answer. I just recently purchased a gas convection oven. I was looking forward to being able to make more than one cake at a time. However, I was watching a cooking show yesterday and they were showing all of these foods that were baked in a convection oven and they said that it was NOT a good idea to bake cakes in a convection oven. The reason being that it would dry out the cakes. They suggested only a conventional oven for cakes. Has anyone using a convection oven noticed that their cakes come out dry??? Thanks so much..

I have been baking cakes with a convection oven for several years, without any problems with dryness.
