I don't know if this link has been posted recently or not as new topics come fast and furious...anyhow this is from Country Kitchen, a good video of torting and filling a sheet cake for those that may be interested.

that was pretty interesting,I never cut at an angle AND she never did not use a dam of icing around her cake befor filling.hmmmmmmmmm

funny...my counter is so narrow that when doing sheet cakes, I've always HAD to cut on the angle -- only way the slicer would fit!

THat's a neat way to do that I like it. I will have to give that a try. Looks much easier than doing the whole sheet at once.

I wish that they would have gone into more detail on corners. That seems to be the bane of most decorators (me included). That would have been wonderful if they would have gone into detail with the corners. Otherwise, a very nice little tutorial, none the less. Love the idea with the little wooden rollers.
