Tomorrow I have to do my first pirate ship. The kit doesn't come with any direction on how to cut the cake if I need supports etc. Has any one ever done it or something similar and could give me any tips?
Thanks
LL

Have never done a cake like this, but it look like a double layer 9x13 with the front cut to form a point. I could be totally off though too. Where did you get the kit from?

It looks to me like a one layer 9x13 cake, with the front cut at an angle on each side, then the cut pieces laid on top to form the double layer. Same with the back piece, a notch cut out of the middle, then placed on the back to form the back of the ship. I could be totally wrong, but that is what it looks like to me.
