what are you wanting to do with it? It is quite versatile.
What I was wondering was...I'm making a basket weave cake with flowers on top. Then I wanted like a florist looking tag to put happy birthday on it. So I was thinking of making a chocolate mold tag (white chocolate) and then putting rice paper with happy birthday on it on the mold. Is this possible? My handwriting is absolutely horrible and I thought I could print what I wanted, then come in with rice paper? What do you all think. I get so depressed reading these forums because you guys sound so brilliant and I just can't sort all of this out. Please help!!!
thank you P.S. Where do you get the food safe printer?
Yes that is what you could do with it...
Dont ever get depressed about reading what others are able to do cause at one time we were all beginners too that is what these sites are for to help other decorators learn.
The other thing you can do depending on what look you want you could get the candy mold business card that says Happy Birthday on it and all you do is add the chocolate..
Or you can do fondant piece and then imprint it and write on it with frosting Or you can cut out fondant pieces and add to it to spell out what you want..
You can also get the candy molds that have letters and use the letters to spell out what you want in the chocolate to add on the chocolate mold..
If you have a cake store in your home town they should be able to print that for you OR if there is someone in your town that has a Kopykake Edible Ink Printer that is willing to do it for you...
What you would need a a printer that has never been used and you would buy special Edible Inks for the printer and only use it for making Edible images with. Here is a site so you can see what I am talking about..
