i had to start with white icing, and as much black as i add it still looks purple!!! what can i do?!?!?!
that'll help next time. for now could i just add some melted chocolate??? i just have to do a little border, not a lot of stuff.
I would try the melted chocolate - if nothing else, it will help with the taste, and should help with color, too.
I had this same issue yesterday. After looking on this site for advice I went and got some Americolor. That stuff rocks. Even though I'd already started with Wilton colouring I used the super red on my dark pink ( that took a whole bottle of no taste red ) and super black on my dark grey and ended up with some really nice colours. I will NEVER use wilton again!
Thanks CC....I thought I was going to go crazy
ok so im DONE!!! and omg it is so AWESOME if i do say so myself
this wasnt THAT hard to do, except get that black color which i did thanks to my melted chocolate chips, and can i say YUM! i decided to do a border on my letters as well as the bottom of the cake since after the top border it looked a little stark. and theres a little smudge on the icing so im just gonna patch that b4 i go to bed ![]()
