Does anyone know if I can use candy coloring in icing? I accidently bought a 4 pack of garden "candy colors" instead of icing color. The candy colors are oil based, and I don't know if/how that will affect my buttercream.
thanks

I don't think it will be a problem because in reality, the icing is oil based too usually....unless it's royal icing.

No, that's not a problem at all. Unless, of course it is royal. Don't do it the other way, though. Don't put regular icing pastes in the candy. The water base will ruin the chocolate.
