Does anyone have a recipe for a moist Marble Cake? The Camo cake that I just made for a customer was a marble cake. They thought that it was pretty but dry. The last one I made was dry too. Most all my cakes are moist except the marble cake. I think I need a new recipe.

Any and all help would be GRATELY appreciated icon_smile.gif

If you have a favorite moist yellow cake recipe, take a cup or so of the batter and add melted chocolate or some cocoa powder mixed with a touch of oil to it and blend well. Pour this over the yellow and swirl it in.
Or - take a cup of a moist chocolate cake recipe and pour and swirl it in.

I do the same thing. I start with a white cake mix and a chocolate cake mix and then marble in the pan. Great tip I learned here on CC. Make your white cake first, then you mix your chocolate in the same bowl and you don't have to worry about cleaning the bowl b/c whatever remaingin white is in the bowl will just mix with the chocolate.
