We always have my daughter make brownies from scratch. We cut them up and label them that they were made by the student and people seemed to love that idea that the kids made them. The recipe came from an old Betty Crocker cookbook.

i was the bake sale queen in college fundraising for my dance club. the best sellers are always:

1) oversized brownies
2) decorated cookies
3) rice krispie treats

store bought cupcakes actually sell faster than home-made so glob tons of funky colored icing on yours with a star tip if you want to get rid of them fast lol

if you can get your hands on the berry flavored rice krispies...omg does it make FABULOUS krispie treats in pretty colors!!

9 cup Chex
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Put cereal in large bowl. Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour over Chex cereal, put into a large brown paper bag with powdered sugar and shake well to coat.

My DD's school used to have bake sales I helped work at them. One of the things that I remember the kids liking were "spirit sticks". They were large marshmellows and the put them on a wooden skewer but I don't know why you couldn't use a pretzel rod. They found other kinds of candy that had holes in them - like gummy lifesavers, gummy peach rings, and put them in between the marshmellows. You could also make the spririt sticks with just marshmellows, roll them in melted chocolate then in sprinkles (if you could find the school colors that would be cool). All kids love marshmellows and they are cheap!

I always make 'high tops'---Chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream dipped in melted chocolate confectionary coating with sprinkles on top. Make sure you rifregerate before dipping in melted chocolate.

I have no clue what this would be called, but whatever it is it's delicious!

First you take a handful each of potato chips, small pretzel sticks and salted peanuts. Melt some dark chocolate melts (milk chocolate and white also work well) and pour it over the chips/pretzels/nuts mixture. Stir well and spread out to dry a bit. Break up into chunks and put in cupcake papers then into plastic bags and tie with bows. Delicious!! icon_biggrin.gif

This is my all time favorite treat! One year I gave it away for Xmas gifts and had folks asking if I was going to do the same the following year since they liked it so much!

It's easy and oh so tasty! Put it in cute little containers and you can't go wrong.

When my daughter ran for homecoming queen, our biggest seller was brownie bites. We made brownies in the mini muffin pans and bagged them in packages of 6 and sold them for a dollar. We have not made brownies since, just the thought makes me sick.lol

edited to add sorry missed that you had already done brownies.
