I only make cakes for family and co-workers' birthdays and I make cookies, too. So it's not much.
Since I am not legal, I don't advertise.....too paranoid about getting caught.

Since I am working full time, cake decorating is a hobby and practice for me, I only average 4-6 cakes a month! But, I eventually want to get good enough to open my own business. Right now, I do a few orders, but it is mostly friends and friends of friends, you know the drill.
It is either feast of famine for me. Sometimes I have 3 or 4 orders a week and then nothing for a week or two and then 4 or 5 orders in a week. It just depends on the time of year and it is word of mouth mostly plus I have given out cards to friends and family.

I average 1-2 cakes per week. The most cakes I have made in one week was three cakes. I did them on a Fri, Sat, Sun. I work 40 hours per week, plus part time at my church. I have my niece & nephew also that 3 cake weekend. SO I though I was loosing it
