Really Small Writing And Fbct

morning all !!!
another FBCT question 
if I try to write really really small ( a challenge in itself) is it just going to smear when i do backgrounds???
I am thinking of doing a scrabble game board in FBCT but i do want to do the detail of the writing on the squares. What do you thhink?? 
I have never written small on a fbct so I really don't have an answer for you but thought I would reply and give you a bump.
I have done a face in a fbct and the eye was pretty small and I wasn't sure if it would smear when I filled it in but it didn't. It was fine. Maybe try to let it crust well before adding the next layer over it?
