Hey guys

I am so pissed right now... I'll give u the abridged version to help shorten this!

August 1: bought top from seller & paid immediately after winning bid

August 24: get request from seller to leave feed back - replied that I hadn't received item

Six weeks after paying for item: still no goods, emailed seller - she blames Australian post and says its not her fault gives me an LC# which is not traceable in any system in Australia (pretty pointless)

Email seller & explain this - she still says its Aust. post problem & that this is happening to her heaps, and vows never to sell to Australians again, citing another customer rec'd their goods 3mths later after she refunded & then kept the top.

Waited another week, lodged a claim with paypal - pointless because it's past 45days - which I didn't know it had to be b4 this time

No response from seller.

Email Ebay & lodged complaint & end up leaving negative feedback (first time ever) on seller stating that goods not received & for aust buyers to be careful.

Seller turns around and leaves negative on MY account! I email and ask why she did that - her response... 'cuz I left neg on her thats why. I said, why did she just leave neutral or no comment at all???

I put a response on MY acct as to why I got the neg feedback to protect me on any future purchases/sales... SHE turns around and leaves ANOTHER neg feedback against me responding to my response!!!

I'm getting a strong suspicion that this chick obviously dislikes anyone that is Australian (from tone & comments made in her emails). Says that I think I'm above everyone else and don't read her fine print and I should have paid insurance.

I've left it with ebay now - I thought the whole process of neg/pos/neutral comments was a reflection on how that person traded with the transaction - not a simple case of if u leave a warm fuzzy, I'll do the same - regardless. She also stated in her email that I should only buy from Australia or better yet, go out to a mall!!

I have bought so many items from both the US & UK - some stuff is just difficult to get in Australia - and as they say, variety is the spice of life! If she wanted me to pay insurance I would have - she only had to include it in her invoice. This is the first time in 5 years of ebaying & internet shopping from the US that I have not received what I ordered.

((sigh)) I'm so frustrated... I think she feels since that I'm so far away she can treat me as crap... wonder what she's like dealing with her fellow Americans???

Oh well... my loss... i don't understand why she's so angry - she got the money... I'm the one that's spent over AUS50 and have nothing to show for it.

Scratch it up to experience I guess... karma will settle the score, I'm sure.

Thanks for listening/reading

I feel for you...

Don't expect any support from e-bay concerning the negative feedback. In the fine print, they advise they aren't responsible for checking feedback accuracy, so anyone can say anything as long as its not excessively vulgar or threatening. It doesn't have to reflect the transaction experience.

My 2 neg. feedbacks resulted from similiar situations....

I'm with you on the karma. What goes around comes around! (eventually, anyway)

They need to do something to fix the whole feedback system. I love ebay...we both buy and sell but I hate the feedback part. I am always worried about it. I was wondering what would happen if they made it so your feedback was not revealed until the other person left their's? They get a message stating that feedback was left but will not be made public until they leave their's or something like that. There has to be a way to fix it!

Hey Emily... we share the same birthdate!! how cool is that!

Just to update on the whole ebay thing... I ended up being a lowlife bitch and left a nasty follow-up against her feedback saying how she doesn't like int'l buyers... how mean is that!!??

Anyways... basically ebay are not going to do anything... they say that the feedback is nothing to do with them and unless it is abusive or threatening they don't have to do anything... they don't give a shite basically.

Anyways... I hope karma kicks her arse REAL hard!!
