Can someone please tell me where I can buy (if it is sold) or how to make chocolate/white chocolate shavings to put around the sides and tops of cakes?

Thanks in advance,

MissJ

The white chocolate you can probably find in a bulk type candy store.

I'm in WI and they sell shaved chocolate in a jar by the baking supplies in most grocery stores. I think the brand is Baker's. I've never tasted it but it is made.

Just what Doug said. Probably the easiest and you can pick what kind of chocolate to use for your shavings. I know at the grocery store in town, they sell higher-end chocolate in small blocks by the deli. It's not cheap but I'm sure it's very tastey. The name of the brand of chocolate escapes me right now... starts with a "c", I believe.
