I just started working with fondant and I love it. The only problem is it hard on my hand when using the rolling pin. What else can I use besides going out a buying a pasta machine that I really don't need. Any tips will be appreciate. I have problems with my hand. Please help!!....Thanks.........

That's a tough one....the pasta machine is the best alternative for your hands. Perhaps you could experiment with different recipes to get a softer product. Other than that, perhaps you could change your rolling pin. I don't like the wooden rolling pin as compared to non-wooden. Sorry, this is all I can think of at this time. Best wishes!!

I have just started working with MMF and when you microwave it to soften it, it makes it SOOO easy to roll out. I like it much better than regular fondant (too hard to roll out). And, it tastes so much better.

I was having problems with my shoulder from kneading and rolling the fondant because it was too hard, no problems kneading and rolling out the MMF.

The other nice thing about the MMF is that you can color it right after the marshmallows have been melted, that way, you don't have to knead in the color.....life saver!
