Is there any other product that I could use to color fondant other food coloring.....? Sisters...please help, help, help!!!!!

Me and my mom made fondant last night for the first time and colored it with the wilton colors (the small jars/gel-type color) and when we made the fondant, the color didn't stick to us when we washed it off....especially if you coat your hands with a little shortening. icon_smile.gif I don't know if that's the answer you were looking for but it works great!

Wilton icing colors.

It's all I use. Less mess.

I read on here where some people use the powdered drink mix (Kool-aid). but they say it makes it very tart.

I have heard that americolor is really good. I am going to order some. I have only used wilton so far. You can order it on this site for .99
