I made a batch of Chocolate MMF last night. I have wonderful success with the regular MMF, but this is breaking apart, it doesn't have the elastic give the regular MMF has.

I can't seem to get it to knead smoothly... any suggestions?? I have a cake going out at 3 today I need this for. ASAP would be soooo much appreciated!!

Heat it in the microwave for a few seconds and then work with it.The heat from the micowave will help soften the CMMF

I think I figured it out. I used the chocolate marshmallows last night, at the time I was pretty tired and didn't think much about the lack of ewwy gooey marshmallow mess. I remade it this AM after looking at the chocolate marshmallows I still had in the cupboard. There is a huge texture difference between the regular white and chocolate marshmallows.

The new batch with white marshmallows and it looks like the ole MMF I'm used to!

Let this be a lesson to all! Gotta tell you tho.. that stuff I made last night tastes great, can't throw it out, gonna have to figure out SOMETHING to do with it! icon_biggrin.gif
