Got a question about doll cakes. What do you use to put the dolls hair up icon_confused.gif What decorating tips work best?

I took mine to my hair dresser to have it "done up". LOL

I'd also like to know. The last one I made looked like kramer from Seinfeld.

I didn't know how to give her pretty hair. icon_cry.gif

I have to make one for halloween and I'd like to give her an extreme makeover.

Anyone??

I've done it two ways.

I lay Barbie down and "wrap" her hair in saran wrap (straight up in the air) so that the hair doesn't get into my way while I'm decorating. When I'm done....I let her hair down.

I have also brushed the hair into a high ponytail and tied it with a ribbon. That also kept it out of my way while I worked. I left the ponytail when I finished the cake.

I twist it together in a big ponytail and clip it with a small hair clippy thing that has like the alligator teeth (my daughter hated those, so I have lots of extras). The ends of the hair will be on top of her head and you can kind of style it over to cover the clip.....am I the only one confused by this? icon_redface.gificon_confused.gif Wish I could post a pic, that would be easier than describing it.
