A customer asked me for a sheetcake with a hat on it; then she e-mailed me and asked if she could have several different hats on it. I said fine; but I'm wondering what to do now? The original hat was going to be cake. Now, should I make little hats out of cake or something else? Suggestions greatly appreciated!

Maybe you could use various sizes/heights of cupckes for the body of the hat with fondant for the brims.
Hat ideas - top hat, bowler/derby, ball cap, cowboy hat, pilgrim hat, straw hat, sun bonnet.
Just a few ideas to get you started.
Have fun with it.
