I made this cake for a friend hosting a bridal shower. Not quite sure what to charge? icon_confused.gif Any advice would be appreciated-Thanks! Oh yeah-the hearts are 10 inch, and it was done in BC with fondant daisies.

That looks to feed what? 50 peeps?

At 1.50 a head you're looking at $75. 1.50 too high for you? If so, just think about what other custom-made desserts they can get for 1.50 a pop....not much eh?

How long did it take you to make and how much were supplies? After calculating this you can come up with a more accurate price.

Not sure if those are two layer or one layer hearts so here is my pricing for both.

These are my base prices figuring only buttercream filling if it is two layers.

10" Double layer heart serves 38
10" Single layer heart serves 19

2 Single layer cakes = 38 servings = $57.00 ($1.50/serving)
Double layer cakes = 76 servings = $171.00 ($2.25/serving)

These are what I would charge, I do not know what prices are in your area though, but when you do research do NOT call your local grocery store or wal-mart call bakeries!
