I have been asked to make a cake for an r.c.m.p. wedding. Anyone got any ideas? Her color theme is navy blue, red and gold. Pictures would be helpful>

Ya it's the Canadian police.............there's a lot you could do with that color scheme, I think,......... are they looking for something really classy, casual, formal?????

What about making a tiered cake and decorate the cakes to look like the jacket..........and have the "hat" as the topper.

would be cool to include this on it somewhere too......if you could recreate it with gumpaste or royal icing brushed in luster dust

of course that would leave you with a red wedding cake with black belt around one of the tiers.....this is a tricky one eh??

how about the musical ride if it is not too difficult...one horse, the mountie and the flag? You could try in FBCT?
Or the other thing to try is maybe you could do a scarlet uniform similar style to the tuxedo cakes I have seen on CC..that wouldn't be too hard.
Good luck

American Cake Decorating Magazine had a hat on the front cover that was used in Texas, but could be used in the RCMP wedding. If you want directions Just pm me.
