Just wondering who you guys use to ship cookies.

Post office? FedEx? UPS?

Is any one better or worse than the other? or cheaper or more expensive?

Thanks in advance icon_smile.gif

The rates are all fairly competitive. I ship using the US postal system only because they have an office practically next door.

I've shipped a couple of times and used the US postal system. It wasn't too spendy and the cookies got to their destination pretty quickly. I've never checked into any other options because it worked so well for me. HTH

Ive shipped UPS only because I usually want the stuff there overnight. THe only bad thing with the post office is you cant track your package and you cant guarantee how long it will take to get there.
Here in Hurlock, our post office is horrible. They lose stuff all the time and half the time I dont get mail like I should. It takes them a week to get me something from someone an hour away from here.

ups usually arives next day- but they are kind of pricey! You can also have them pick up your packages at your front door if you set up an online account through them. It does cost a bit more do to this though.

I use the USPS 2 day priority and always use delivery confirmation. If the customer is in anything except a house of their own (apartments, condos etc) I also require signature for delivery.

Haven't had any problems shipping this way.

I ordered cookies for a bridal shower favor in 2003 and they were each individually bagged with a ribbon. Then each cookies was placed in one of those bubble wrap pouches. The box had layers of bubble wrap and packing peanuts inside with the cookies. She shipped it UPS. I had ordered like 60 cookies and at least 1/3 were broken. It looked like the box had been sat on or something. At least she reimbursed me for the broken ones, and UPS reimbursed her.

I'm a big fan of USPS.
