im making 2 sheet cakes (11x15)that are gonna be diff. flavors but will be iced together to make one big sheet. i've already made one sheet that is a red velvet cake, i was thinking of doing maybe a nice chocolate cake to go with it? or what else?? im going to fill and ice with reg. buttercream

Since red velvet is basically chocolate cake, I think I would want something different. Maybe white or yellow instead?

I agree..........or what about a white chocolate??? That would be good too considering it's mild in flavor.......or go with the ol' marble type of flavor combo and just do a white cake. Or even a strawberry cake......although I don't know how the red and pink would look together.
