can i mix 2 cake recipes together if i made each batter seperatly? i made 2 diff. red velvet cake recipes, not too much of a diff between the 2. just need a lot of batter for a big cake

I do it all the time and it works just fine.

Hmm...I just read your post more carefully. At first I thought you were talking about combining two batches of the same recipe.

I still think it will work if the recipes are quite similar, but I'm not positive!

I've done it with other flavors........I don't see why it wouldn't work!
