Every single time I have to deliver a cake, I have such anxiety about it. It just makes my skin crawl thinking about the cake collapsing.
Tomorrow I have to bring a cake into work for my boss's son, and I really don't live that far from work, maybe 5 mintues, but I am way more worried about that than how the cake will look!
Does it every go away? icon_razz.gif

I don't think so...........you think that's hard......wait until you have to hand one of your cakes over for someone ELSE to deliver......that's Nerve wracking!!!!

My cakes always go into work and I'm an hour away by public transportation. The good thing is I get to the catch the train at the end of the line so I am guaranteed a seat. But I worry about the buttercream melting or the cake sliding. Today I brought in a cake with a slippery topping so I had to bring it in in pieces and finish it here. It came out great.

Well, I made it safely to work, and my boss's son's wife came and picked up the cake and paid me. So it is out of my hands now....I am so glad that's done! Phew!
