Ive bought mine at the following places
CakesbySam.com, Globalsugarart.com, Sugarcraft.com and countrykitchens.com
But recently my cousin used intotheoven. They were fast, and much cheaper than any of the places I mentioned. Depending on what size you need, it usually runs about $15.

where I get it depends on what else I need to order and who has it all. I like cakesbysam b/c of their quick realiable shipping and great customer service. I would like to try intotheoven however last time I wanted a certain size of satin ice white and they didn't have it. So someday I will try them

The only thing I dont like about CakesbySam is they add a fee to your order. So you might get a deal on pricing but after their fee it really isnt.
Satin Fine Foods direct, dont you have to order a certain amount, like a large quantity?

I use enough SatinIce that ordering two 20 pound buckets at a time (a case) is not a problem. And it keeps nearly forever anyway. Also they will sell a two pack on the 5 pound buckets, although they'd rather sell a four pack. They will assort colors, too. If you have someone to split an order with, it shouldn't be a problem.

I cant say enough good things about intotheoven! They are the cheapest place I have found for satin ice. The shipping was very reasonable and they had my order to me the next day!

Thats not bad. I thought it would be more than that. Like you said, you can keep it a year so thats probably a better way to go.

I also bought a bunch of it recently for a huge wedding cake I have coming up from globalsugarart.com. They had a sale which made it more cost effective for me and it arrived in a very timely way. icon_biggrin.gif
