I'M WORKING ON MY FONDANT TO GET DEEP BURGUNDY. I BOUGHT BURGUNDY FROM AMERICOLOR AND MIX IT WITH CHRIST RED FROM WILTON AND LET IT SIT OVERNIGHT AND STILL IS WINE ![]()
. USING ONE COLOR ON THE CAKE IS OUT OF THE QUESTION AS U WOULD SEE BELOW. I NEED IT FOR THE PEARLS AND TO PAINT THE REST. NO MATTER WHAT DESING I USE, DON'T KNOW YET(ANY SUSGESTIONS WELCOME) I CAN'T GET THE COLOR
MY HANDS ARE PINK TRYING TO MIX THE COLORS. CAN I BUY READY-MADE BURGUNDY FONDANT? DO I NEED TO BUY SUPER RED? HEELP.
BY THE WAY THE DOLLAR TREE HAS PLAYDOUGH STUFF,I GOT A THINGY THAT YOU CAN USE TO MAKE ROPES( .99 CENTS) NOT BAD.
I needed a burgundy color royal icing recently. And I found americolor's Maroon to be very helpful. It's less pink than their burgundy. I used burgundy, lots of maroon, a bit of super red, and a bit of brown. Ended up with the perfect color in spite of myself. ![]()
Have you tried adding the smallest little amount of black icing colors to what you've got already? Try a small, small, SMALL amount, then increase it a little at a time as needed. HOpe that helps.
