Ok, I'm not so good at math! Can anyone tell me if I have this right?
100 grams soft butter =3.5 oz
100 grams chocolate = 3.5 oz
100 grams icing sugar = 3.5 oz (? is that powdered sugar?)
4 eggs = 4eggs ![]()
For some reason this just seems to be a very small amount of sugar.
This is from CakeJournal.com It's for chocolate buttercream that looks sooooo good.
Got all my stuff out to give it a whirl!
100 grams will always equal about 3.5 ounces--weight ounces, NOT volume ounces.
The volume will vary, depending on what you are measuring. With powdered sugar, 3.5 weight ounces is about 7 volume ounces, or a little less than a cup. (a 1 lb. box is about 4 cups).

Math teacher to the rescue...
My sweet cream butter weighs 1 pound which is 453 grams. Each 1/4 lb stick weighs 113.25 grams.
If icing sugar is powdered sugar, then 30 grams is 1/4 cup. 100 grams of powdered sugar would be 5/6 cup (or 1/2 cup plus 1/3 cup.)
I wasn't sure what type of chocolate you are using. My Hershey's cocoa says that 1 Tablespoon is 5 grams, so you would need 20 Tablespoons.
Hope that helps.
