I noticed that there are a few MMF recipes here on Cake Central. Which one do you use?

I hate measuring and guessing when there is enough powdered suger, so I use this recipe:

1 (16oz.) bag mini marshmallows
1/4 c. water
1 (2 lb.) bag powdered sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Butter Flavor

It comes out nice and soft so that when you knead it with powdered sugar or roll it out with powdered sugar, it doesn't dry out and crack.

I use the Alternative Marshmallow Fondant recipe. It is way easier on my mixer and it is just easier to deal with because you mix the shortening into it.

I melt the marshmallows in the microwave (takes 1 minute for 16oz in my microwave) and it works great.

Yes, I put the marshmallow and liquids in a glass bowl and melt in the microwave. Then pour it into the powdered sugar in my KA bowl and let it do the mixing.
