ROFL!!! I was feeling the same way! I tried to come to CC several times today, and was denied each time!!! I was starting to get frantic!!!! 
Me, too !! I was starting to get a little frustrated and thought "I've got to write to someone to find out if it's REALLY down or if there's just something wrong with my computer". Then I realized I can't write to anyone because I can't get on CC to get anyone's e-mail address!!! 
Then I got depressed.
Then I went back to work like I was supposed to.
I too was having a fit, I needed the carrot cake recipe that I saved in my box. I kept on having my son check every few minutes. Needless to say, he was NOT happy with me. I am glad it is back!
I was also having a complete freak-out today because of the maintenance!! I needed some advice !.........and non-cake-decorating-friends just weren't cutting it today!! Phew!...I'm glad CC is back....it sure makes you realize how much you depend on this site though,.......I think I'm bordering on obsessive!!!!

I was so out of sorts today without Cake Central for the second day in a row! Poor DH didn't even want to be in the room with me and the laptop since I was so frustrated that the page wouldn't load. He ventured back in when I got quiet. He said he figured it must be back up since I wasn't muttering "Come on, just load! Just once! I gotta check a picture."
Yeah. I'm a Cake Central Addict and I am out of control. Seriously out of control. 
OMG I am with the rest of you. I have my last course 3 tomorrow and had some pics saved to look at for ideas and I couldn't get in. On the good side I was actually working on the cake and not on here checking stuff out But Yes I am a serious CC addict and I have already admitted it before But like you I wish I had a warning so I could get my fix before it has to take a break from us JUNKIES
I thought ist was just me. I was getting a "page cannot be displayed message "instead of the regular "down for maintenance" one. I thought maybe my computer just wasn't letting me on cc so it could have a rest. I was happy to get back on, then when I tried to reply to this I agan was getting "page cannot be displayed" I thought I'd be without cc for the rest of the night. Thankfully it's back again.
