Oh my goodness, I keep saying just look at one more post and get to work. Then I return to the home page and again, "Just one more post." You all have so many wonderful ideas to share and so many beautiful cakes to look at, I can't stop icon_cry.gif

LOL I'm looking at post, sweeping, washing dishes and I really need to work on a cake.. All I have the urge to do is hit the Refresh button!!!!!

I too *bows head in shame* have succumbed to the likeness of CC.

Since I got to work I've been online. LOL. I'm very upset I have a doctor's appt this afternoon which will take me away for an hour LOL.

I'm the same way! I will read a few posts and then make myself go do something like fold laundry or clean a bathroom ro something lol.

I can write my name in the dust, the floors need to be swept, I need to get in the shower, I need to go to the fabric store and buy a zipper so I can make a mold of it for a purse cake order and yet I JUST CAN"T HIT THE DISCONNECT button and leave CC!!! It's a disease!!!

Ha ha ha ha I'm the same way!! I can't stop looking at cake pictures and reading posts. I have to fight over the computer with my son and my husband thinks I spend way too much time on here! Oh well, such is life and cakes are a part of my life that I don't want to give up. I dream of someday making the most fantastic cake that everyone drools over and they don't want to cut. There are so many fantastic decorators here on CC and they all give us inspiration and push us long so that we may have a fantastic cake

To make things worse, I was so engrossed in CC that I forgot to go pick up my next student and he just walked in (10 minutes late). Have no fear parents- he is an ESL student who is leaving the country Friday.

Thank goodness they haven't blocked from this website from where I work ... they have a lot of other websites blocked but so far, not this one... I dunno what I'd do if they did .. I peek in here all during the day lol ... I'm so with you all my fellow CakeCentral "sisters" (and brothers for you guys)!!!!

I get to work from home. I have my work computer set up next to my home computer. Then every five mintues I have to stop and hit the refresh button to see the new posts. Somehow, I have got to get more work done.

I'm supposed to be cleaning my house today (laundry, vacuum, etc) so I'll have minimal maintenance for the next week! Starting this evening, I'll be busy baking and or decorating for 7 days straight!!! I have a fundraiser and 3 3D cakes due every other day starting Friday!!! Super exciting and stressful at the same time.
BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOO, I JUST COULDN'T RESIST GETTING ON HERE AND SEEING WHAT'S GOING ON!!!!!!!!
My CC addiction is second only to my addiction to sweets!!! I see CC as an investment in my future business!!!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Trust me....I keep trying to leave for lunch, and everytime I start to get up, I click the home page and see a new post to reply to or look at. Then, of course I have to take a peek at the newest photos!!!!!!

ARGGGG.....I, too, did not head the WARNING noting that this website is highly addictive. Who would have ever known.......

WORK? whats that I cant even make Icing hardly without stopping to look.
The wheels in my head just keep turning.
I have CCD ( cake central disorder) and the bad thing is theres not been a cure found and no funding for research either . Oh what a shame.
