Well, now we know, I have to admit I am a little surprised too! Although I wanted Emmitt to stay, I wasn't at all sure about it!
Next week the two "contenders" will be dancing three dances each...that may give Mario an edge just because he is considerably younger than Emmitt. It will be another tough decision!
Wish the tour was coming this direction, maybe later on in the season...I think it would be great to see them in person. Janice
The tour is coming here to my town. I had thought about going to see my little cutey patootie Joey but they want 50.00 for the cr@piest seats and it is in the huge arena (it is our proffessional ice hockey arena that holds about 30,000 people. He would be a speck on the floor. that is where I listened to (they told me he was there but could have been anyone too hard to see and they dont always use the screens-BonJovi and where I will listen to Dixie Chicks). I was sad they let him go...now I hope that Emmitt gets it, he is the most improved!

Go Emmitt, Go! Emmitt has been my favorite all along, of course I am partial because he was a Dallas Cowboy, and he is so upbeat and smiling all the time! Yes, he is the most improved as well as the "most unlikely" dancer!
$50 to watch a speck is indeed pretty pricey, even if they were coming here I wouldn't be able to go!
They have a great group put together for the tour, they were looking really good together! Maybe they will televise one of the tour shows at some point, so we could all see them. Janice

How sad is this that I am so excited to watch tonite, I can't even concentrate at work!!! I am working out of town this week so staying ina hotel. Have already decided what to get for dinner, will get pj's on and sit back and watch!!! Enjoy everyone!
The show tonight was great, I'm still awed at how well both of these guys dance, but my preference is still Emmitt.
I'm also sad that this will be the end of the show for another year, wonder if there is a way we could beg and plead for more shows!

I voted for the first time last night. almost 40 votes in before our time zone closed. 4 emails addresses and 5 phone lines. its very hard to get through on the phone. Emmit got all my votes!!!! i don't know why but i really dislike Mario. something about his face when he dances bugs me. except for last night he was finally smiling but it was too late by then. i really really want Emmit to win tonight!!!!!!!! plus i just love Cheryl.

I'm glad you all are for Emmitt too! This whole town, the whole area, plus Pensacola, are behind him, so I think he has a very good chance of winning! Cheryl has to be really good, to be able to take these guys and turn them into such good dancers, she deserves to win too! If I were going to go dancing, I'd sure love to have a partner like Emmitt!
That was neat, having his whole family there last night. My local TV just said they will all be on Oprah this afternoon, have to remember to watch that! Not too much longer to go now! Janice
How great was that last night? Emmitt did it! I suspect there was dancing and celebrations all around the DFW area after the show!
Now the sad part, no more DWTS until next year!
When you consider it takes at least 4 months for the training, practicing and doing the shows, realistically they couldn't do it year round. Maybe this is part of the theory of always leave us waiting for more! It was fun, and I'm glad Emmitt won.
