I need cake ideas for a daycare birthday party. It is for a worker who is turning 21 but she wants her cake to be something she can take and share with the children. Any ideas would be most appreciated.

I'm not sure of the design...but, I think a cupcake cake would be great in this situation! Would be so easy to serve, and EVERY kid loves cupcakes!

Perhaps she has a hobby or special interest that could be reflected in the design!

It's early and I have a cold so the brain isnt working much but perhaps the cupcake idea could go one step further and bring them to work and let the kids decorate. I know the kids at my sister's daycare (where she works) love to do arts crafts things. Just a couple days ago she brought in tiny potatoes and mini carrots and toothpicks and other things and had them make little veggie critters. Just a thought and maybe make an actual cake for her. But a small one. ANd let the kids decorate it. (With supervision of course lmao)

Why not make cup cakes in ice cream cones. Someone actually just posted a picture yesterday. That would be fun and creative (and easy)!

My niece loves cupcakes (with a goodie of some sort on top)....when I did the royal icing monograms she thought it was so cool that she could eat the decoration....and they are so fast and easy....but a cupcake cake would allow you do do more of a cake design...

OT but Oceanspitfire...I miss your old avatar!

What about taking a character like Scooby, Mickey, or Dora and put it on a cake and say: Dora wants to wish Ms. ________ a very happy birthday.
