You Don't Bring Me Sweetness Any More!

I think that Cake and I are no longer friends. It started treating me badly a while ago. I am not sure what I did to hurt its feelings and make it wish me ill will, but it was obviously something. Maybe it was jealous over my friendship with cookies? Must I purely devote myself to it in order for it to give me sweetness? Oh the sadness. I thought we used to have a good thing going. I found joy in our time together. Yes, for awhile I may have spent more time with cookies, singing its praises and basking in the easy satisfaction that it brought me, but I never quit enjoying cake. Oh cake if you are reading this, I am sorry if I hurt you old friend. Please bring back the ease of our relationship. I miss how you used to let me frost you to a beautiful smooth surface, the way you held the frosting just the way I wanted you to. Now you just crumble at my touch and leave looking a bit crooked and messy. Oh cake, cake, I am sorry for whatever sin I have committed, please welcome me back with open arms and bring us back to what we used to be!
Sincerely,
your baffled baking buddy
Wow, you must have really offended cake. heh, heh, too cute! Best wishes in rekindling the romance.
Oh Sweetie, I sure hope you and cake can get back together. I know it must be difficult. My best regards. ![]()

It takes TWO to make a relationship work! And somehow I feel like you haven't been doing your part. You can't let other things come between you. You may be having an inappropriate relationship with the cookies......As Dr. Phil always says, "You can't change what you don't acknowledge"!
BTW.......I think we both may need therapy! ![]()
I think it is jealousy-poor Cake. I am in a similar situation with Cookies. I fear that if I leave Cake to go back to Cookies-that maybe they won't respond, won't be happy with the fact that my heart has belonged to Cake for so long. *sigh* 'Tis a dilemma to be sure...
